Who invented CPR?

Historic versions of CPR have been around since the 19th Century, though modern day CPR first came about in 1962 by a group of individuals from Johns Hopkins University. James Jude, Peter Safar, Joesph Redding, Guy Knickerbocker, William Kouwenhoven, James Elaim and J Perason all contributed to the development of the artificial respiration and external chest compression technique that forms the essence of CPR.
